how do child support lawyers work for georgia?

child support enforcement is nothing, they have did nothing to enforce the support for my kids, he won't even babysit while i work my second job on the week ends, i'm feed up now, can anyone help, i want to get a lwayer but to pay $1000 or more just to say well we can't find himk or hes not working is not worth much, that takes away money for the kids and myself just to pretty much get the same answer that the agency gives us. is a lawyer worth getting, can he get the money some kind of way or just send him to jail, if he just sends him to jail , its still not worth it, because the agency can do that too for free, i need better results, please let me know before i invest all of our household money in a lawer

Please go to the Family Services department & request a Case Manager to intervene with mediation & support. This is free & monitored by the courts. Sorry you have to go through this.
