how do authors make books?

i want to make a book but i don't know how it should be done. i don't know if you type it.........i don't know if YOU have to change the paper size........i don't know if YOU have to bind it your self........or do you think it, type it, and show it to the publisher?
 
You think it, type it so it's a presentable manuscript, and then either get an agent or send it to publishing agencies yourself. They'll usually ask for a summary, or maybe a few chapters, and if they're interested, the whole thing. And then they'll publish it and bind it and the works. = ) Good luck!
 
Just write the story and print it out on 8 1/2 X 11 inch white bond paper. Double space it. Send it to a publisher. If they like it, they'll send you a contract and a check, and they'll do all the rest.

All you have to do is put butt in chair and write it.
