How do any type of fish mate?

well i don't want to breed fish but i am curious.How does that work??

any type of fish breeds in differnt ways

some lay eggs and are externally fertilized
some are internally fertilized (sex) and are born live
some are carried in the mouth to develope
some are put in floating bubble nests
and some are just scattered any old place

If the fish lays eggs, the male fertilizes them. Pretty simple.
