How difficult is it to replace the alternator on a 2002 Honda CR-V EX?

I think I may need a new alternator. I have the battery on a charger right now so I am not sure yet whether it is the battery or the alternator that is giving me trouble but the alternator looks like it is difficult to get to.

Any ideas of the cost of this job for labor? Or if I could do it myself?
