How difficult is it to get an adderall prescription?

I'm an 18-year-old college student who're originally from Vancouver but is studying in Montreal. Because of fancy government rules involving my province of origin, I only have access to two clinics, one of which is on campus, the other that is across the street from a university, meaning that both of them see a LOT of students.

Students resorting to study aids such as ritalin, adderall and concerta is not a big issue in the city, despite the high percentage of universities, nevertheless I'm worried as to the likelihood of them diagnosing me, and those of us who know the Canadian medical system are aware of just how much of a b*tch it is to use it.

I've noticed many signs of ADD such as an inability to concentrate (like right now, as I study for anthropology) but also the ability to hyperconcentrate (like when I'm painting.) ADD in fact it runs in my family (my father and sister both have it,) so I'm not just looking into this as an easy way out so much as addressing a problem that has been present for many years.

I'm not too excited about waiting in a waiting room for 4 hours while the disaster that is free health care works its evil, so unless the likelihood of me being prescribed is high then I think that I had may as well not bother.

Please excuse my massive wall of text, and kudos to those who read the whole thing.
Thanks!
