evolve? (if it could)? I think there is a big difference between what real combat looks like and what MMA the sport looks like for example if there were no rules at all your priority of targets is going to change greatly and therefore it will look very different!
You wouldn't be thai kicking to their thighs you'd be trying to kick them in the balls you might want to KO with a boxing punch still but an eye gouge or a choke to the throat is probably more effective!?
If the floor was concrete and you can bite break fingers etc grappling and submissions would also change greatly!
Now obviously fighters cant spar with deadly moves and there careers would be rather short if there were no rules at all but how would real no rules mixed martial arts fighting look compared to sport MMA if it could evolve in the same way!?
Would it look more like Bruce Lees modified wing chun or more like old style MMA (which has less rules) or would it look different in another way!? Would grappling or striking dominate? Would precise vital point striking be more effective than KOs? and so on!!???
Also as there are no weight divisions would the biggest and most powerful still be dominant with their superior KO power and strength
Or would the fastest and most accurate be dominant (ie who ever can strike a vital point first)
UFC 1 only had 2 good fighters a savate guy and Gracie they wernt even mixed martial artists as they only had one style what im asking is very different!
Thanks jwbulldogs only smart answer ive got!
