plenty of doing the worng things lol, i first got an html editor; i began with frontpage and later went to dreamweaver. i mastered html by making tons of crappy sites until i started taking classes on web, network, graphic and other comp sci major reqs. i learned from playing with basic code and trying to be creative, everytime i had a "how to" question i opened google, typed "round corner table html" and i learned what to do to make the corners of a table round. it takes time and creativity, that's pretty much it.
