...gear and ...? All the new rules for kids today ?
scrapes & bruses , did you get more than that ?

Have a good evening . D :)

yep. sure did. i guess more cautious drivers. less traffic. no pedestrians . a great bike had three speeds . much slower. we did receive bike curtosy lessons . and going or coming from school teachers noticed stupid behaviour parents contacted. no bike to school for rest of year. slower drivers also.

Seriously!! I mean I know the laws are for our safety but some laws go alittle too far.

Years ago people used common sense more I guess and knew "oh if I try a stupid trick I'll prob crash..hmm" now kids think they're invinsible sometimes..but idk..lame..

Good grief, those laws annoy the snot out of me! All my fondest childhood memories envolve pain sooner or later! You play, you get hurt, you cry, you get up, you play, you brag about your "war wound", that's how it worked for me, still does, actually! "What doesn't kill you makes you stranger" (I mean "stronger" of course |:] )
As far as I see it, both my dad and mom survived as children and they were INSANE so I figure we'll pull through...

I remember being pretty hurt a couple of times on a bike, I raced BMX and when racing we wore helmets, but when we practiced we didn't, and I got banged up quite a bit, but you know, even with all the scrapes, bruises, knocks, and bumps, I survived, and pain is temporary.

We have become a society of coddlers.

The same way we stayed out playing all day and got home just in time for dinner. Another example of government intrusion in our every day lives.

Also the same way we managed to keep in touch with each other without cellphones. Remember when you could stand in line at the grocery store and NOT have to listen to someone discussing their personal life with someone on their cellphone? I miss those days.
