This goes way back further then Watergate! The media has hated Nixon since the very early 50s. He was one of the prosecution team that convicted the Communist traitors - Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. She should have not been executed (in my opinion).
The media has always supported the left to one degree or another and the success of that prosecution just screwed them into the ceiling!
They never forgot that he succeed in stopping their agenda. Know that the media is as prejudices as any other interest group!

They over blown it. It was a modern day coup. Someone high up didn't want the changes Nixon instituted and used the scandal to kick him out. During, that time, those kind of scandal was nothing shocking. If you notice, Nixon was the Last President who actually tried to institute any real change. He instituted EPA, Osha, got rif of the Gold standard, and other real change in our government. Now a days, Presidents are afraid to do much.

I did not see that movie. I would never pay to see something on a crappy lying person that I did not like. I may watch it when it comes on cable. But I don't think that the media can be blamed for his scandals. He did the scandals not the media. The media just reported what the crooked liar did that's all.
