It doesn't even have to be ancient. It can be from the 1600s, 1700s, 1800s, even early 1900s. I'm just curious. Nowadays, we shield them until they're "old enough" and then we give them "The Talk". But was it always this way? I personally think that if we treated sex like it wasn't a big deal, then it wouldn't be strange to the child learning about it. And if we didn't shield them until they're 10, 11, or 12 years old, maybe they wouldn't think of it as a big deal. I don't know, what do you think?
