How did my fishes die?

My Dad Changed The Aquarium's Water At 12:00pm, then at about 10 minutes after 5:00, ALL of the fish in the aquarium just died. All I Saw Was Floating Fish Bodies. Everything Dead, Anyone Got An Idea Of How This Happened?
