How did different types of races evolve in civilization?

how did whites, blacks, middle-easterners, asians, american indians, and so on come about?...i heard the first people on this earth were black(NO OFFENSE!).
 
I think it would be the same reason why we separated from the other apes. We evolved in different environments.
