How did ancient Roman sculptures reflect changes in Roman culture?

It is a very big topic, but I only have noticed that the roman change the idea of the human sculpture such as:
-they make the sculpture more real like add some movement to it such as "Laocoon Group" instead of being solid like the ancient Egyptian (profile and the head and the leg toward us)
-Also, the nudity like "Venus de Milo" which was the first sculpture, as I know, has a half naked women in Rome history.

note, The Roman art history is very big, so if you have specific sculptures, I can share thinking about it with you
