How has ancient China influenced later civilizations? I already know about all of their inventions, including paper, the compass, etc, but how else did they influence them? I'm doing a term project and I'm saying that ancient Greece's achievements were greater than ancient China's. I have a ton of Greece achievements (in arts, architecture, philosophy, mathematics, drama, and science) however for ancient China all really have are the inventions. For China can anyone say how, if they did, influence others with their government/religion or any other subject like that? (basically, not the inventions! its all I can find on google). In my paper I also need possible counter arguments to my thesis above, so if you could provide any good ones that would be great. Also, any references (to websites, not wikipedia please) will be greatly appreciated as I need a bibliography as well. Need help ASAP, thanks!

China was the main country that everyone wanted to open trades with in the 18th century. They made weapons out of Western inventions under the Qianlong emperor. Thats all i remember now haha
