How did alexander the great convince Pausanias to kill Philip (his dad)?

A kid in my class asked the teacher when he was teaching this how Alexander the Great could bribe a noble. and my teacher said its inappropriate to say at school which is surprising cause were sophomores so I was wondering whats the big thing he did to bride the noble to kill Philip?
