...Windows ??? Is it gonna work ? Hi,

I'm gonna change the system of one of my friends computer from Windows XP to Linux Mint. But the problem is that he like to watch contect from ABS CBS NOW, and that to watch this content, he NEED TU USE HIS ABONNEMENT and DOWNLOAD THE LISENCE wish is working on Windows Media Player.

Is there is a software on Linux that actually support Windows Media WITH THE LISENCES ACTIVATIONS ???

I don't know if the default Movie Players for Linux will work. Honestly I wouldn't see why they wouldn't. You can try VLC media player and see if it will work. to install this on Mint you can use the software manager or open up the terminal and type

su -
apt-get install vlc

Install that first and see if it will accept the licensing.
