How could I use childrens building blocks into a sold picture frame? I saw one...

...and would like to recreate one I saw one that was very solidly built.. not appearing to be simply glue-gunned. Would like to amke one for my grandson..

asking this question for my older sister, actaully
 
howdy.. i would build a picture frame first then wood glue them on and screw them into place from behind the frame making sure the screws are short enough to go thro the frame into the block but not thro the block .... hopefully this helped u out
