How could I get a trainee/apprentice position working on fishing vessels/ships in

South Florida? I have struggling with looking, but I feel like I belong on the water busting my hump under the hot sun. I really want to work hard to be able to call myself a sailor, and no I'm not looking for some over-glorified "Captain Ron" type thing.
