How compatible are cadillac hood emblems?

i was wondering how compatible are the years.. with the models..
im lookin for a 1997 cadillac deville d'elegance hood ornament..
but i was wondering if any of the emblems from 1990 for the deville would fit it.. any information today would be greatly appreciated this way i can go to ebay and but it now..
