How come when I ask, no one wants to play with me?

I know this is kind of a weird question, but in my dorm, whenever I initiate to play a game or watch a movie, people are like, meh, but whenever someone else wants to play the same game or watch the same movie, everyone gets excited and does it? It hurts me so much because it's a small campus and I can't really go anywhere else or do anything. I'm so hurt and I just want to know what's wrong with me!
