How come when i am tagged in a photo on facebook, it does show up on my profile?

the settings ARE changed so that EVERYONE can see photos ive been tagged in.. so how come it doesnt show up on my profile? like ususally it says.. "blank tagged you in a photo" and then it shows the photo, but mine doesnt..
