how come the thumbs up are weird?

ok its like this: on yahoo answers i'll post some funny answer and then say like i'll have 1 thumbs up. then i refresh the page a minute later and i'll have 1 thumb up 1 thumb down. and then i'll refresh it again and i'll only have 1 thumb down, no thumbs up. and then i'll refresh it and i'll have no thumbs up or down.

anybody else have similar experiences to this?
