How Come Some Girls Are So Good At Chatting Up Guys?

I have been approached and chatted up by girls several times in the past. I actually liked it because it made me feel attractive. However to be honest I also felt intimidated. I mean when I do the chatting up Im already prepared to do it but when a girl chats me unexpectedly I often feel caught off-guard you know. LOLZ

So, Im just wondering how come some girls are so confident to approach guys they are interested in instead of just waiting?
