I guess this holds true for almost all brands of bikes, but I'm shopping for a mountain hybrid bike that isn't very expensive, and everyone seems to say that the only reliable place to get a bike is at an actual bike shop. I've seen ok looking bikes at walmart/main stores that I would think about buying, so I guess I'm asking that besides problems like them breaking down /warranties, is there really any reason for me to go to an actual bike shop if i can get an affordable bike at a basic store?
