How come rooftop gardens sustainable?

Use your run off water from the rooftop garden beds to water other plants, indoor and out. This way you save water.

Rooftop garden insulates room below it in the winter and keeps it warm and during the summer the insulation keeps that same room cool.

Eat what you grow thus saving time, gas and money going to the grocer's.

Plenty of sunshine...on the roof.
