Overly Confused! HELP!

How can I make the filtered water taste almost like the restaurant one?
The filtered water at my house is kind of sweet-- it is really hard to explain!
AND I do not like bottle water! I like FIJI and VOSS but I do not want to BUY them when I have water at home...
I know that restaurants put lemon to enhance the taste, but besides that... what do they use to make water tast good?
I don't like soda's or fruit drink.. ALL I love to drink is water !!
