My theory is if it were discussed than that would be the end to the Democrat Party once the general public is educated on the party's past of slavery and racism. President's like FDR would become unliked once the public knows he had 20% unemployment, increased the debt by 1050%, appointed KKK members to the Supreme Court, put Japanese-Americans into concentration camps, and prolonged the Great Depression. President's like Truman and Wilson being KKK members. LBJ becoming so unpopular he didn't even run for re-election. Carter disasterous policies that caused him to win only one single state in his re-election bid. President's like Wilson that were tyrants and imprisoned 100s of thousand of citizens without proper cause.
