How come NBA players shots rarely clank back in the rim?

say when a player shoots it, its either a perfect swish or it clanks off for a miss, but it never clanks into the rim, or rolls along the front of the rim until it hits the backboard then either goes in the rim or slowly falls down.

I dont get it because when I go to shoot hoops this often happens to my made shots a lot, but for NBA players it is either a perfect swish or a miss.

Why is this?

They usually have a little more arc on them since they are taller and shoot over other tall players and so the ball falls harder and bounces higher than if a 5'0 Kid shot it

they shoot higher arcs. also they, they shoot 23 feet from the 3 point line.

a typical Gym is about 18 feet.

they have to shoot further which gives the ball more velocity, making it hit the rim harder.

also they always use balls that are fully inflated. a typical basketball looses air withing a month of play time so your ball may not be fully inflated, therefore it lands softer.
