How come my fish is resisting food?

I don't know if it's because he's being treated for Ich at he moment of if he's just not hungry, I don't know.
What should i do to get my fish to eat?
Also even after the food sinks to the bottom he still doesn't eat it, it just sits there and dirties up the place.
I'm feeding him Nutrafin Max pebbles, and I've tried switching to goldfish flakes but I got nothing.
I haven't had him very long and he is currently housed in a fish bowel, but I just bought a tank, filter, new gravel, and water conditioner yesterday, and plan on moving him in there after the Ich clears up.

What medication are you using? Are you using the exact amount stated? over medicating can affect fish. being ill can effect their appetite too.
Fast him a few days right now. then retry. if giving pellets, try pre soaking them first, this softens them up a bit. Always remove uneaten food as now he is living in foul water and this will only speed up anything wrong with him.
Depending on how your housing him, as this can effect their health also. Many things can come together at one time to make a fish ill. all things should be checked before medicating. water quality. get it tested if you don't have a kit. Most pet stores will do it for free. Replacing all the water at one time can also bring on illness as it forces the fish to re balance continually. this wears their bodies out. The food. Feeding the same food over and over again can lead to health problems. Feeding too high a protein food all the time can constipate fish, feeding surface foods can cause them to swallow too much air over time and give them bloat or SBD. overfeeding ca lead to those things also.
if this is a goldfish, I would recommend this diet.
A good quality goldfish pellet for mot feeds.
Brine shrimp or bloodworms once a week.
Some veggies. lettuce, par-boiled cukes or zucchinis, things like that as a treat..but these should be taken out of the tank after a few hours.
Flakes should only be given occasionally as they force a goldfish to gulp at the surface, or try presoaking them a bit first.
