I will attend UCSC starting next week and I will need to pay my tuition and housing fee by the 16th. When I checked my "charges due" status, it said I owe around $8000. My financial aid is suppose to cover around $6500, but the status currently is still pending. I am confused on what action I am suppose to take now. Should I just pay the $1500 that I owe and wait for the financial aid to arrive at my school because I heard that it will be paid a few days into my school quarter? Or what else should I do? I know a lot of people are experiencing the same thing as I am. I have also completed my "To Do" and I have no "Holds".
How come my financial aid is still pending? What should I do?
