How come my digital download of Test Drive Unlimited doesn't work?

This is my first time downloading a digital game so, I'm not the best with it. It downloaded then installed and put a window icon shortcut that says "Launch Test Drive Unlimited". Then when I clicked on it a Windows error message popped up reading Test Drive Unlmited has stopped working.

My system is XPS M1530 with a NVIDIA 8600GT intel core duo 2.

Any help?????
