Blacks and Jews both (but personally I don't care for Seinfeld). Jokes tend to spring from tragedy. Both of these groups are long-suffered so it makes sense.
Some groups have struggled so long and hard that if they didn't routinely laugh about it all, they'd crack up (and not in a good way).
