Sorry if this sounds racist, its just something i've thought about recently on all my hiking/camping trips. I've never seen any black people on the trails or in the camp sites. Just mostly white some asian and some indians.

Cause we know its a redneck kind of thing.. we tend to stay away from it LOL

Asians and indians are probably the dumbest minority race when it comes to common sense!

Im kidding.. i go camping with my bf all the time but im not gonna lie before i met him i never went camping.. he is white.. so maybe that is why =/

If i was dating a black guy i definitly would NOT go camping.. I think its best if ur with a white person they know the area and surrounding better no offence.

because i hate bugs, bears, etc. and all that dangerous crap people do. i mean jumping from a skinny string over a 70MPH flowing water. no thank you

Because we scared as hell!!
The same reason why you don't see us sky diving or bungy jumping..
LMFAO..

Too busy doing sports and recreational activities that are actually fun like football and basketball...you know the stuff white people used to be good at before we started playing ;)

I love camping, my dad loves to camp because he likes astronomy and the stars are the best out in the open at night!

and I went hiking once as a whole family and my white Aunt fell into a thing of Poison Oak! lmao!! She's so goofy, but I love her :)

I believe it's just something not as popular to many black people. But I'm black and I went hiking before and I enjoyed myself :)

i happen to love hiking and camping because it's really great for the thighs and back to keep them toned. But I just haven't had a chance to leave the city to do "anything" lately. Please stop stereotyping. Thanks.
