Brazil is all only ethanol, there is no foreign gas there, it's just pure ethanol. They have Flex-Power cars that run on either Ethanol or gas, but they only have Ethanol there. How come here in America we only have like a 9% Ethanol at our gas tanks and gas prices keep going up, and we are going into a recession and we can't go all ethanol? WTF's up? I don't think (but i am not sure) Brazil is as stable as America is, but yet we can't have Ethanol at our tanks to help our economy! this just really makes me mad! so WTF is up? Give me your opinions and your info that i may not have. I want to be educated on this issue! I will research but i want to know what you all think and know!

Brazil is a BIG oil exporters, they don't run everything on Ethanol, tree huggers want to shove ethanol down the public's throat and that has cause MANY problems.

Brazil is also a third world country, full of corruption and the majority of their population live in poverty, is that what "nature lovers" want? they want all of us to live in fabelas, not own cars and walk everywhere like Brazilians do?

Brazil is not turning food crop into fuel, and they have been screwed for oil since like forever. Law of supply and demand, you see, and everyone wants an immediate fix. Notice how food prices went up the last few years? Less and less corn being used for food. China is beginning a huge increase in demand for oil, they want their turn at the gas gluttony we invented years ago, and they have the ecomy and customer base to outbid anything we could do. Go bicycle shopping as soon as you can.

Because we have a ton more cars than Brazil
.. .. ..
And sugar cane makes more per pound of cane than does corn
.. .. ..
And if we even tried it would take 100% of the corn grown in this country to try and do it and still be short in the needs
.. .. ..
Then everybody would have to buy new cars that could run on it
.. .. ..
