I graduated three years ago with a degree in computer programming. Unfortunately, I am lacking in experience and have been trying to build this up.
A year or two ago, I heard about a site called Freelancer.com where those looking programming and data entry work can try to apply for a project by placing bids on them and if the person who posted the ad for the job saw your bid and liked it, then the bid would be accepted, you would do the project, and then be paid.
I have been placing bids on this site for a year and a half now and nobody has accepted them. Has anyone out there heard of this site? If so, then do you have any advice on how to get the person who advertised the programming project to accept your bid?
