It rained a little bit yesterday afternoon, but it is sunny this morning. We're thinking about renting a tilling machine to till up the garden, but I don't know if it is too muddy. Is there a good rule of thumb to follow? I'd hate to pay the rental fee, then get started and find that it isn't working very well.
How can you tell if it is too muddy to till a garden (before renting a tiller)?
