How can you open a Honda 05 ex hood?

Screwdriver, prybar, if you cant get it open without too much trouble then stop. dont screw it up more. take it to a dealership or a local repair place. they should open it for free, even if they try to sell you a new hood.

or go to a grease monkey or a big o tires. they offer free windshield fluid and then they would have to open it for you.

im a mechanic and im sure i could figure out how to open it.
 
Now before i get smart ass answers I would like to say of course I know how to open it when my car is regular.

My problem is I was driving pretty fast in my Civic and my hood flew open denting the middle and bending the corners where the hood is attached. After closing it however the hood no longer wants to open. From what I can see it looks like the hook that keeps the hood down is stuck and can not detach. Any Ideas on how I can open it? Or if you know about how much it would cost to fix that would be greatly appreciated!
