How can you move music files from windows media player to itunes?

I just downloaded a song on some website and the mp3 file went straight to Windows Media Player. The song plays fine on the media player, but I do not know how to transfer the file to itunes so i can put the song on my Ipod.
 
go to itunes, click import file, then click the song, then it would transfer to your itunes library
