how can you make a salt water fish tank?

my friend has a 10 gallon salt water fish tank and i asked him if he how he had convert the salt water fish tank and he said that someone came to convert it and he didn't know how so i am asking you can you tell me.
 
man the best thing to do is to tlak to your local aquarium. they gotta give you the salt solution and all your supplies anyway so talk to them and you will be fine. dont go chucking salt in a a tank of freshwater. saltwater tanks are quite hard to work from scratch
