Just curious as to whether there is any way to play in cricket games around Britain while on holiday, while not being affiliated with any club long term.
We often go to the Isle of Man for the summer (which has several cricket clubs), and I would really love to play the odd game there in summer while not having to make any long-term commitments (which obviously I can't as we are only there ~3 weeks a year).
Does anybody have any idea of how to do this? Are clubs open to the possibility of somebody on holiday just playing a game or two for fun?
Cheers!
