How can you get a dealer to get the most trade in value for my Honda Prelude (2000)?

with low miles (85k) and a really good RED paint job...

Now you may call me crazy but I'm planning to trade it in for a Honda Oddessey (the 2nd gen), its because i'll be getting my sister's v6 Accord when she goes away and my mother will have this mini'van,
but yeah would the dealer belive that? lmfao it might be too much for them. PLUS the INSURANCE IT WAY TOO HIGH!!

but yeah do you think they'll take it for $7,000 (i owe the bank $7,650)
w/ the 17'' kongs..

the oddessey's only going for around $6,000

Would i still have to put a down payment??

BUT yeah please don't bull shi* when you respond because this aint a Civic! its worth way more that $4,000 Dollars

You gotta stop fooling yourself. No dealer is going to give you close to $7000 on an almost 10 year old Prelude.

Sure they are great cars and they are still a popular model since they were discontinued and yours may very well be in excellent condition but the value won't be $7000 wholesale anywhere you go.

Any trade in will not get you the money you need out of that Prelude. You will have to sell it yourself to get the kind of money your talking.
