How can you find information on a bicycle by the serial number?

i have a very old bicycle but it does not have the manufacture ID.on it, it does have the serial numbers on it though can anyone tell me how to find out the manufacture or give me a website that could help me find who made the bike if you can that would be very helpful

Serial number to the bike is H159522 it was located on the rear axel mount
I don't see where to upload a pic of the bike to put on here
