how can you contact a real book sellind author?

okay, so i want some real, professional help with the publishing industry and how its like. I'm not even close to finishing my book, but i'm still really curious and anxious to know about it so as soon as I am done writing, I would know what to do. Is there any way i could contact an author willing to answer my questions? And how? If you personally have a way (like, you have their e mail address or something) can you give it to me? thanks. :]
okay, so you guys arent really answering my question (although some of what you guys are saying is pretty funny). I need to just talk to an experience author. I WILL finish my book, i just want to know what the publishing world is like before getting into it. So, please, anyone have an author's e mail address? If your wondering what kind of story im writing to help you answer my question, its: romance/ teen. Not too romantic. It has inspiration and comedy. If this helps.
 
A lot of authors are on Facebook and/or Twitter these days, and from what I've experienced in talking to some that way, a lot of them have been happy to talk about stuff. I don't know what sort of genre your book is in so I don't know if the friendly authors I've been in contact would be worth a try (Duane Swierczynski, Jason Starr, Victor Gischler), but I'd check out Facebook and Twitter and do some snooping around.
