How can you call yourself "pro-life" and yet not favor government-run health care?

Some people are willing to pay more for United Parcel Service or Federal Express. Some people can't, and the government provides them with a viable, affordable option.

Some people are willing to pay tens, hundreds, of thousands of dollars for health care. Some people can't, and, at present, the government does NOT provide them with a viable option.

There's a difference: If you can't afford UPS or FedEx, you might lose a little time and a little money; if you can't afford what the insurance companies demand that you pay for health care, you can die. And conservatives are not only fine with this, they will do anything, moral or not, and will say anything, true or not, to keep it this way.

So much for conservatives being "pro-life."
