I am writing support instructions for my main application and for associated command line utilities that I have written to supplement it. However, beside making a hard to navigate MS Word document, I don't have any idea on how to write up instructions. A colleague said they offload that to a friend of theirs, who creates MS help files, which work well.
So far my Google searches haven't come up with anything but a link to download MS's help compiler. Surely there is a tutorial on how to do this?
