My husband and I think that what my mil is doing to her son is wrong...but we don't know how to tell her. She has a 13 year old son, who hasn't gone to school for about 6 months, and she has been getting truancy tickets for it, but she still keeps him home because he "doesn't want to go to school." What 13 year old kid WANTS to go to school?? Anything he wants, hes gets...mind you my mil is living off of disability and my fil works for about $7 an hour. They bought him a laptop, nintendo DS, got him a puppy...and everything to make him "happy." They told him he couldn't get another puppy and he attacked my fil, bit his neck until he bled, scratched him all up on his face, and got a glass picture frame and broke it on the floor and got the pieces and was trying to attack people with it...and my mil just caters to him ALL THE TIME. My husband is very upset about this and doesn't know how to tell her that she needs to just tell him NO. We are NOT trying to tell her how to raise her kids...we just want her to get the kid back in school!! Any suggestions??
