A friend of mine has received some lab results, the level of mercury in his blood was 300 times the average limit. He's suspicious someone is poisoning him and is wondering how it's possible
There is way too much Mercury in his system to be from fish or a bad diet, the doctor said he would of had to eat fish non-stop over a long period of time for him to have a high level like he has, and he barely eats any

food, water, maybe any contact he is unaware of...if mercury leaks, it can create a gas, maybe tiled floor in a college or something. It can more than likely be inhaled, absorbed, or by oral intake. Where is your friend in which some of these may occur? Especially with food, i hear of celebrities eating a LOT of sushi and herbs that gave the similar diagnosis. Fish filter the water, and if oils and pollutants get stuck in their gills, organs, or meat, then eaten, that is a very common way.

Its very easy to get mercury poisoning. It could just be his regular diet. Does he eat a lot of fish? All mercury has to do is touch your skin to get into your system.

Certain foods contain high levels of mercury but to have a level 300x higher than normal level, he needs to talk to a doctor and see how it is possible.

Fish actually contains quite alot of mercury in it depending on the kind. If your friend eats a great amount of fish i would suspect that it may add the the level of mercury in his blood.

He ate a light bulb? You can get mercury poisining from eaating too much fish.

He may be eating alot of fish. Fish that swim in polluted waters (everywhere on earth now) soak up the pollution. When people eat them, they get the pollution also. Look up a list of fish online and it will give you the mercury contents. If he is eating alot of it, he may need to drastically cut back.

Mercury builds up in your system. Some fish have mercury in them if he eats a lot of fish that are caught by himself or someone else (not from the store) That will make his level rise. Also older thermometers have mercury in them. Mercury can even be absorbed through the skin.

fish is often poisoned with mercury. a lot of fish caught from the ocean or polluted waters are high in mercury. if your friend eats a lot of fish, this may be the cause

Themometers have a lot of mercury, but I doubt your friend drank it. It's a possibility that someone is poisoning him, but unlikely. It could be in fish. A long time ago, Shi Huang Di(China's 1st emperor) kept drinking mercury because it was said that the powers it possessed were to make a human immortal. Of course that not true, it actually killed him! I'm sure there are plenty of ways the mercury could have entered his body.

The mob used to poison enemies slowly by putting mercury in the light bulbs of a victims home. Mercury would slowly diffuse into the immediate environment and build up so gradually most people would think they were simply having a run of increasingly bad health (before of course it took their life). Change your light bulbs. Have a look at this information:

Number one mercury is a liquid, bright and shiny ooh. Soory.
mercury is used in thousands of product that you use every day.
More than likly he came in contact with it through work or in his diet.
tuna, fresh fish .Is his place of residence an older place. paints have mercury in them .It has to be somthing he ingested over time .Or a item that leeches mercury.through his skin.

The consumption of fish is by far the most significant source of ingestion-related mercury exposure in humans, although plants and livestock also contain mercury due to bioaccumulation of mercury from soil, water and atmosphere, and due to biomagnification by ingesting other mercury-containing organisms. Exposure to mercury can occur from breathing contaminated air, or from improper use or disposal of mercury and mercury-containing objects, for example, after spills of elemental mercury or improper disposal of fluorescent light bulbs.
