How can playing on a damp hard tennis court affect your play?

It was raining a little earlier, and the game is still on so i was wondering how it would affect my game. I play a defensive base line play, with the occasional offense near the net. My main aspect of the game is my speed around the court, so i'm guessing that will be affected in the rain.
