I don't like Poe. He's too dark, too depressed, too arrogant. Maybe I just find the whole "Philosophy of a Composition" (an essay he wrote about writing The Raven" too stuck up.
About your poems, I think you should try and type the whole words instead of "u" and "r" or whatever, as well as capitalize them. It seems very unprofessional, and the lack of punctuation is an instant turn off.
