How can one eat healthy and still work at a restaurant?

I've just turned vegetarian. I work at a regular restaurant that serves burgers, steaks, chicken sandwiches, and everything else. I don't have a problem w/ other people eating meat (that is their decision) but how can i stop my self from #1 not feeling the temptations of eating meat and #2 eating all the other unhealthy food in site (bread, butter, mashed potatoes, ice cream, etc)? Any suggestions and tip would help.
Thanks ya'll.

Surely there's SOMETHING healthy you can whip up. I worked at a fast food restaurant, and I still made myself iced sugarfree coffees (with splenda packets and ice from the machine), diet cokes, sandwiches with veggies and cheese on it, or lettuce topped with tomatoes and a quickly whipped up dressing - usually with mustard/salt/pepper and some lemon juice/vinegar and oil.

This is going to sound dumb, but when I worked at a pizza place many years ago I was also on Weight Watchers. I had the same temptations and they were worse when the evening was wrapping-up.
I learned by cleaning off tables the vision would change. I also brought my sack dinner everyday except once a week that was the day I would wait all week for. Although it was not the pizza it was a salad, and it seemed to taste like a heavenly treat.
